申友留学团队原创：如何指导学生去面试？

准备去英国留学事先准备工作：

1.       熟读简历，PS，Essays，推荐信， 了解其中内容，每个单词，每个句子都要大概知道其意思。如果遇到没学过的知识点，要初步了解这些知识点宏观方面的内容。 主要这些理解必须是通过英文材料理解，不要读了中文材料就以为自己明白了。

2.       了解清楚面试人是谁，大概是什么职位；通过互联网给此人做Background Check （把面试人的名字输入Google）

3.       通过学校的注意，还有网上资料，越深入越好。

4.       思考以下问题的回答方法。

5.       用假象的方法，想象自己如何跟录取官沟通，并写下相关内容。

面试常见问题回答 指导：

Topic：Your college program

如果是特种帮的学生，就说自己如何特种，如果非特种帮的，就说自己学什么学得最多（不要说政治)

例子：Gifted Class  It is actually the reason that I joint GDUFS, the gifted class program give students certain privileges that we cannot have in other college. For example, many of our classes were taught in English with the most advanced version of English text books On the other hand, the academic standard is more rigorous and advanced topics are covered in our courses. For example, in my study of econometrics, we studied stationary and non-stationary Time-Serials models while most in students at the same level only cover basic linear statistical models.

平凡会计专业： My concentration is accounting, and I have taken lots of coursework on this subject for example…….some of the course were delivered in a full English speaking environment/ Lots of students from our program go to graduate school in the U.S…..

Topic: Multivariable Calculus, Linear Algebra, Differential Equations & Numerical Analysis

A: These topics were covered in advanced mathematics II, and my later study in financial economics. Differential Equations with emphasize on heat transfer process was learnt for the purpose of understanding Black–Scholes Option Pricing model.

Topic: Your company and job

Topic: Strength and Weakness 

A: 这是经常会被问到的问题。自己的Strength 在推荐信上有很多，换种说法说说就可以了。至于Weakness 当然是说缺乏国家教育与商业经验（international education and business experience）以目前中国发展的情况看，这些东西是必须的 – 具体语言自己组织。

Topic： Major Achievement

这部分简历一般是有的，不过也可以自己考虑，但请大家注意，不要提出大学之前的achievement 除非这个是很高级的成就。一般提大学，或者近期的东西。例如，入读了什么全英班，荣誉学院的算是一种成就。例如被某间大型知名企业应聘或者通过其面试的也是。GMAT/GRE 考试分数特别高的也是。完成了某些研究项目的都是。这些内容简历都帮大家列举了。

Topic： Team work

面试经常会问你，如何看team work，是否有team work experience。你当然说有，当然说好！。以下是一个说法的样板。就是如下这样对teamwork 赞美一番就是了。

A: I like to work with a team rather than going solo, especially in a diverse team. Even though something working with other may not be as efficient as working alone, but the process enable me to learn significantly in many aspects. Also, in many teamwork settings, I have been playing a crucial role in putting the whole team toward common goal. I believe being a reliable and active member is important for motivating other members to contribute. Also, I also encourage communication outside work within team, I believe if team members can know each other more, than it is not likely that they will other teammates done in critical situations.

可以说自己新入一个团队的时候，觉得很陌生。后来通过自己的认真工作，被理解和接受。之类的老土话题。

Q： Ethical issues encountered before

这里是问你是否遇到一些道德上的难题。大家可以拿工作上一些公家和私人的矛盾，上师或者同事与你的矛盾来说。例如，公司让你做某事是违背你的个人道德标准或者社会公德的。例如，你上师让你监控或者提供某个你同事的隐私。你同事让你合谋找公司好处。这些东西都可以随便拿个来说，然后说说自己如何考虑去拒绝这种矛盾。最好不要拿学校作弊的东西来说，太老土了。

想要奖学金的，直接提出希望要financial aid， 觉得自己被录取已经很走运的，直接说家里有钱。

先提出自己实习公司有意向招收自己回去，也提出一些自己特别希望进入的企业。

Questions to ask

不要小看这个。对于问问题。你别问一些：你们学校有多少人，你们毕业率多少。你们毕业生就业如何。这些白痴问题。尽量问一些网也上看不到也可以打开话题的问题。例如， does xxx university provide simulated financial trading practices? 或者， If you know please tell me what xxx students usually do together after class? 或者， do xxx university faculty members spend time with students after classes. What do they usually do?
