明尼苏达大学双城校区，简称UMN，建校于1851年，是一所位于美国明尼苏达州明尼阿波利斯市与圣保罗市的国家级顶尖公立研究型大学，也是世界顶尖的本科、研究生教育学府和研究机构。明尼苏达大学的双城校区有着整个明尼苏达大学系统中历史最为悠久且面积最为庞大的校园。学校由20所院校组成，但提供370多个专业，位居全美高校之最。工程、心理、经济是明尼苏达大学三大学科。学生可选择超过150个领域的学士课程，另有200个硕士学位课程，以及100个博士课程，使明尼苏达大学上双城校区成为美国课程最完整的大学之一。明尼苏达州位于美国中北部，与加拿大毗邻。该州首府圣保罗市与隔岸的明尼阿波利斯市(Minneapolis)遥遥相对，这2个城市就是美国有名的“双城”，也是明尼苏达州经济、文化及科技等的中心。
